But, that doesn’t change the fact that there are numerous government benefits and programs available to those who have special needs that can ensure they are cared for long after you are available to care for them.\nAt this one-of-a-kind event organized by The Misty Carol Project and hosted by Mini Equine 2 U, you’ll learn about how to navigate government benefits and maximize what’s available. The goal is to provide education so you can ensure your loved ones are provided for.\nFor one hour, guest speaker Barbara Bush will share her wisdom on how to navigate government benefits, prepare loved ones with special needs for adulthood, and how to maximize the support available. While you learn, kids 4+ can explore the fun and supervised activities hosted by the Mini Equine 2 U nonprofit.\nMini Equine 2 U is based in Wimberley, Texas, and utilizes the proven qualities of miniature horses to provide therapy for individuals of all ages.\n\nThis is a FREE event and food will be provided by Schoolyard Dogs.
